Parkinson’s disease
I have many friends with Parkinson’s disease, and I’m doing a lot now writing a research on the disease for over a year. Besides my own stuff, there is a log of good resources about Parkinson’s disease. I decided to do a little more indexing of the information here on Parkinson Update. This will very much be at the introductory level.
Sometimes I have to explain what is blog. I was never a big Star Trek fan, but I say that it would dictate a bit like Captain Kurk is an entry in his Captain’s Log: Star date 2090 .. Captian log The enterprise sector entered 12th .. ”
There is only one person the same thing on the internet. In my case, my mission is to help people on the Parkinson’s disease teach, so that it fluently enough to have a good visit with her doctor and decisions with the doctor. So, if you carry on this blog, do not hesitate to come along on the journey with us.
By the way, I reserve the right to write and use incorrect grammar and bad. It’s a blog!
One of the most useful websites that the fundamentals of Parkinson’s was introduced to us by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. Or NINDS.
The way to treat them is by dopamine back into the brain with a drug called levodopa. Most people take levodopa in a pill called Sinemet. I know that is not an amazing breakthrough for most people with Parkinson’s disease. The doctor explained all this to the first few minutes. But, tell me a lot of friends that they can not not hear much after the words “You have Parkinson’s disease.” So, it’s all worth repeating.
By the way, a little social protocol and etiquite. In casual writing as a blog to call people with Parkinson’s disease, “People with Parkinson’s.” You can abreviate PWPS. I’ll do that a lot.
